About GOGEN Abacus

GOGEN Abacus is an educational institution that helps next generation kids learn abacus in the ways of brain development methods. It is a unit of Great Energy Wellness and Research Centre which is founded and managed by Dr. R.Gnana Kumaran , He is also the founder of Womens Computer College, it’s the only Computer Institute for women in India since 2011.

Although this Abacus institute was started on 10-07-2024 with name of GOGEN, since 2007 Abacus training is being imparted by Mr.GnanaKumaran. So far more than 2000 children have been trained in Abacus. GOGEN abacus’s main principle is to make education as fun as possible to remove fear of maths and to make kids like abacus in order to make them look forward to learning. We conduct a competition yearly to motivate our students.

Children who receive abacus training at GOGEN Abacus also learn flower education, which help them resolve common negative emotions like inferiority complex, fear, shyness, stubbornness, laziness, mental fatigue, and memory loss, ensuring their development into more capable individuals in the future.

As our name GOGEN suggests in Sanskrit we observe beyond what a child is thought to be capable of and make sure to bring out their capability and we in GOGEN abacus believe that every child is like a flower bud and we try our best to nurture them into blooming to their fullest. In GOGEN, GO stands for Gorse and GEN stands for Gentian flowers in Bach flowers. These flowers give Hope and Positive thoughts.

Founder of GOGEN Abacus , He is also founder of GREAT ENERGY WELLNESS RESEARCH CENTRE and WOMENS COMPUTER COLLEGE located in Madurantakam,Tamil Nadu, India. He is in the field of education for 25 years as he teaches Abacus, Computer Courses, Vedic Maths and many Alternate Therapies such as Acupuncture, Varma, Foot Reflexology , London bach Flower Remedies, Australian Bush Flower Remedies etc..

He completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and worked as a Mechanical Engineer in many leading industries. At the same time, He obtained BCA, MCA, M.Phil degrees through distance education and he worked in some IT Companies after that He Started India’s First Computer Institute for Women. This institution provides Computer Training for Women and also teaches Abacus, Vedic Mathematics, Computer Course and Handwriting Class for kids.

He has conducted many free trainings for Women Empowerment like Computer Service Training, Tailoring, Embroidery, Spoken English, Mobile Phone Service, Hand Crafts etc. He has received many awards for this and his interviews were telecasted in some leading News Papers and Television

At present, he is one of the Leading Trainer who provides training in Bach Flower Therapy in Tamil Nadu. So far, he has trained more than 2000 people in Flower Therapy from more than 60 Workshops across Tamil Nadu. He was also the first to introduce Australian Bush Flower Therapy to India.

He is doing research and provides training in Geopathis Stress, Vastu, Frequency Healing, Astral Touch Healing etc. He has also embarked in his journey as a researcher conducting a study of Indian Flowers.

The Abacus is a calculating tool. It is a physical object and it is semi abstract and pictorial in representing numbers. Numbers take the form of beads.

Abacus helps to Sharpen Your Mind, Develops Problem Solving Skills, Enhances Visualization, Creativity and Imagination.

From 5 to 12 Years. This is the right age to learn Abacus because physical brain development occurs at this age. So the brain is capable of learning a lot at this age.

The child should have completed at least 5 years of age and be able to identify numbers from 1 to 100. They should know the concept of addition and subtraction of numbers.

The Duration of this course is 2 ½ Years .There are 10 levels in total, each level requires 3 months of training which has 1 or 2 Classes per week.

No. We can take only direct classes. Some Training can only be beneficial, if they are given as direct coaching with the help of a teacher. For example, Swimming, Cycling, Driving, etc.

Yes. We do provide a Digital certificate after completing each level and Convocation on Final Grand Level.

Yes. Doing mind math quickly helps to prevent calculation errors and leads to higher scores. Children can use photographic memory, Concentration and Focus which helps them get better grades.

No. Generally calculations are taught in the primary section, and it is called "arithmetic". Learning an abacus is to calculate numbers with Abacus and Mind Calculation, it improves speed and accuracy of arithmetic. So this should not be confused with mathematics which deals with math concepts.

By doing practice at least half an hour per day, you can improve the speed of calculation in Abacus.

Yes. Practice is the most important thing in perfecting abacus calculation. Only with regular practice,the students can improve the speed for doing mind calculations.

Yes. Since GOGEN Abacus syllabus is different, so our Institute will conduct the previous level test. After Successful completion of Test, we can decide for admission.

No. Abacus Training based on arithmetic operations like Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. So we need basic primary maths knowledge for child.

Abacus being a calculative tool is used to perform basic arithmetic operations. Systematic learning from the abacus helps children not only do sums faster but also makes them improve in their skills like Concentration, Focus, Visual Memory, Creativity and Listening skills. These skills in turn help to improve their overall confidence, which is a must in today’s world. While your child may be good in Math - however, the above skills are essential for children.

Flower Education, which help resolve common negative emotions like Inferiority Complex, Fear, Shyness, Stubbornness, Laziness, Mental Fatigue, and Memory loss, ensuring their development into more capable individuals in the future.

It is possible, but adults need to do ten times more practice compared to children because the human brain typically reaches 80 percent of its development by the age of 12. Abacus education at this age can only bring full benefits. But adults can learn the abacus and teach it to children.
