ABACUS

Abacus is an ancient calculating tool. It is a physical object; it is semi abstract and pictorial in representing numbers. Numbers take form of beads. Abacus is used to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Abacus helps the child to improve the speed and accuracy of calculating sums, the child can answer any form of arithmetic questions in a blink of the eyes.

This method of calculation focuses on utilizing the innate power of the child's brain for visualizing the mental abacus procedure trains kids to solve maths calculations mentally with excellent agility without using any pen or paper. Mind Calculation is a form of calculation that does not involve physical instrument but doing computation mentally or in mind and turns out the best exercise for our brain.

We train a child to solve arithmetic problems initially through abacus. An abacus helps us in understanding mathematical concepts by developing number sense, something that cannot always be achieved while using a calculator.

Levels:

There are 10 levels and 2 categories in GOGEN Abacus. First category - junior grade (age group 5-8) has 10 levels in total; second category - senior grade (age group 9-12) has 8 levels in total.

The age limit of learning abacus in GOGEN is 5 to 12, because by the age of 12 the human brain reaches 80% of its development.

VEDIC MATHS

The Vedic Maths is a collection of Methods or Sutras to solve numerical computations quickly and faster which focuses on helping the kids learn how to solve mathematical sums at a swift pace. This system not only helps to improve a child's mathematical skills but also indirectly improves (his/her) brain function.

Vedic math helps one in various aspects of decision making, intelligent estimation and Out of box thinking. Vedic math is like a magic of solving Complex mathematical problems in just seconds. History:
